Numerous interested parties at the booth, new projects and dialog with customers, trade fair visitors and partners: embedded world 2025 was a complete success for hema electronic.
The theme “Heart of Embedded Vision” showed, how hema electronics are at the heart of numerous applications—and was very well received. Many discussions revolved around technical topics such as ultra-low latency sensor data processing, the integration of multiple system-on-modules and the integration of FPGA technology. Long-term availability and obsolescence and lifecycle management also played a central role.
Main stage for hema visioneers award
As part of the trade fair, hema electronic presented the hema visioneers award, with which the company honors outstanding thesis in the field of embedded vision and FPGA technology. Himal Subedi received the award for his master's thesis entitled: “Memory Bandwidth Regulation for a RISC-V Multicore Softcore Processor”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Marco Caccamo at the Technical University of Munich.
The award was handed over by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, Chairman of the Advisory Board of embedded world and Professor at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, and hema Managing Director Oliver Helzle, during the Student Day and on the embedded world main stage.
In addition to the prize of 500 euros, Michael Zapke (AMD) presented Himal Subedi with a starter kit as support for future projects.
Oliver Helzle was delighted that hema electronic was once again able to find and promote young talent this year. He promised that the hema visioneers award would be announced again in the coming year.
